New Delhi: Today is the birth anniversary of former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. On this occasion, other big leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including PM Modi, remembered him and paid tribute. PM Modi wrote in his tweet that Arun Jaitley worked continuously for the development of the country. Paying tribute to Arun Jaitley, PM Modi wrote in his tweet that, 'Salutations to my friend Arun Jaitley on his birth anniversary. Everyone remembers his personality, knowledge, legal understanding. He worked continuously for the development of the country.

The Union Home Minister and former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah wrote in his tweet that, 'A tribute to Arun Jaitley Ji on his birth anniversary. He was a brilliant parliamentarian whose knowledge and input has been the match. He played an important role in the development of the country. Apart from these, other big leaders including Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP Chief JP Nadda paid tribute to Arun Jaitley.

The BJP also remembered Arun Jaitley through his Twitter handle. It was written on behalf of the BJP that Arun Jaitley's contribution to the reforms taken during the tenure of the Modi government was excellent. Arun Jaitley was born on 28 December 1952. While he died on August 24, 2019, after a long illness. Arun Jaitley held many important positions including Finance Minister, Defense Minister.
