Mirzapur: President of France, Emmanuel Macron, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, jointly inaugurated Uttar Pradesh's largest solar power plant in the Mirzapur district.
Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by both France President Emmanuel Macron and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, inaugurated the 75-megawatt solar plant in Mirzapur.
They are likely to return to Varanasi, to visit the Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul - a trade facilitation centre as per the schedule.
Both the leaders will also visit the Assi Ghat, where they will take a boat ride from Assi to Dashashwamedh Ghat.
The two leaders will then have a private meeting over lunch, then France President will leave back for New Delhi after lunch. Following which, PM Modi will head to the Manduadih railway station, from where he will flag off the Varanasi-Patna intercity train. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting before flying back to Delhi from the Varanasi airport.
