It is a modern-day Bhagirathi work to bring water to the fields of the farmers. Now there will be more greenery in the fields of Bundelkhand. Young sons have to live a life of wages in the city by living in slums, now they can start living a new life by living with their parents under the open sky. There will be enough water in the houses, water in the fields.
It is worth mentioning that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a provision of Rs 1400 crore in the 2022-23 Budget for the Ken-Betwa Link Project. These projects will provide drinking water facilities to 41 lakh people. The groundwater situation will also improve. In MP, an area of 6,53,000 hectares will get an irrigation facility. 103 MW of power will be generated, which will be used only by MP.
