Vidisha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the incident in the Vidisha district of Madhya Pradesh. In fact, PM Modi has tweeted. In this tweet, he wrote, "Saddened by the incident in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. An ex-gratia of Rs.2 lakh each will be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives from PMNRF (Prime Minister's National Relief Fund).'' Let me tell you all that there was a shocking incident in Vidisha district last Thursday night. Here, a child fell into a well in the Red Patthar and when people arrived to rescue her, the entire well collapsed. During that time, there was a huge crowd around the well, causing about 40 people to fall into it.

Now, in this case, the state government has announced financial assistance of Rs. 50,000 for injured people. With this, a free treatment facility will be provided to the injured. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered a high-level inquiry into the incident. The NDRF team was engaged in rescue operations which have now been completed. Let me tell you that the rescue operation that started after the accident at Ganjbasauda in Vidisha district is now over.

Yes, the bodies of 11 people have been recovered from the well, while 19 people who are undergoing treatment in the hospital have been rescued. Most importantly, the operation ended with the emergence of the body of the innocent child who started falling into the well. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted, "The 24-hour rescue operation of Ganjbasauda has ended, 11 mortal remains have been recovered, it is an unfortunate incident. We are with the bereaved family in this hour of grief. I pray to God for the peace of the departed souls.''
