Kochi: President Ram Nath Kovind and PM Narendra Modi have expressed grief over the plane crash at Kozhikode Airport in Calicut, Kerala. PM Modi has spoken to Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan on the phone about this accident and inquired about the accident. CM Vijayan informed PM Modi about the rescue operation.

PM Modi has assured all possible help to Kerala CM Vijayan. PM Modi has instructed the Minister of State for External Affairs Muralitharan to go to Kerala. At the behest of PM Modi, Minister of State for External Affairs Muralitharan left for Kozhikode after midnight by special plane. The Minister of State for External Affairs, who arrived in Kozhikode, held a meeting with the officials and inquired about the plane crash. They will also meet the family members of the victims.
