New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has reached Japan on Friday to attend the G-7 meeting. Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Hiroshima, Japan, said that India is fully prepared and committed to protect its sovereignty and honour. He also discussed the border dispute with China in one of his interviews. PM Modi said that peace and tranquility in the border areas is very essential for normal bilateral relations with China. Improvement in India-China relations is possible only with mutual interests and respect for each other. 

He said normalizing relations with China would not only benefit the region but the entire world. PM Modi said that India wants normal relations with its neighboring countries. Now it is the responsibility of those countries to create a conducive environment free from terrorism and hostility. It is the responsibility of Pakistan to take necessary steps in this regard. 
 
Along with this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the newly constructed building of Parliament on 28 May. The monsoon session is expected to be held in the new Parliament House itself. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla met Prime Minister Modi on Thursday (May 18) and requested him to inaugurate it after the construction work of the building was completed. The new Parliament House has been completed in less than two and a half years. On this day is also the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Veer Savarkar.
