On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi heartily wished the Muslim community on the starting of the holy month of Ramadan, also called Ramzan.
PM Modi said, "As the holy month of Ramzan commences, I convey my greetings to the Muslim community.” ‘May Ramzan deepen the bond of brotherhood and the spirit of harmony in our society," he said.
After the sighting of the new moon on Monday evening, the holy month of Ramadan began.
