New Delhi: Amidst the global epidemic coronavirus, PM Narendra Modi on Friday addressed the heads of all gram panchayats. On the occasion of Panchayati Raj Day, PM Modi launched the new e-village Swaraj portal and app. The problem of gram panchayats through this portal, information related to them will be available at one place.

It is noteworthy that the lockdown is in force in the country due to the Corona crisis and all government programs are now happening through video conferencing. Earlier, PM Modi has addressed the Chief Ministers of the states, representatives of many regions and BJP workers in Varanasi through video conferencing itself. PM Modi, while communicating with sarpanches across the country through videoconferencing on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day at 11 am on April 24, launched the e-GramSwaraj portal, mobile app and proprietary scheme.

Earlier, on the eve of National Panchayati Raj Day, PM Narendra Modi wrote a letter to Panchayati Raj Minister Narendra Tomar and congratulated him. During this, he mentioned the contribution of Panchayats in the development of the country, as well as comparing the Gram Panchayats with the Corona Warriors.
