GUJRAT: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his address at an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, highlighted the growth and success of the initiative over the years. He noted that when Vibrant Gujarat was initiated, there were challenges, such as a lack of adequate accommodations for foreign guests. Even government guesthouses were fully occupied, and university guesthouses were used to accommodate visitors.

However, despite these initial challenges, PM Modi emphasized that Vibrant Gujarat has evolved significantly over two decades. It has not only contributed to the redevelopment of Gujarat but also laid the foundation for the state's future growth. The summit has served as a platform to boost the self-confidence of Gujarat and establish direct communication with the world.

PM Modi referenced Swami Vivekananda's quote, stating that every endeavor goes through three stages: initial mockery, subsequent opposition, and eventual acceptance. This quote underscores the resilience and determination required to bring about positive change.

Additionally, during the event, PM Modi inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 5,206 crores in Chhota Udepur, Gujarat. These projects include village Wi-Fi facilities in 22 districts, furthering the state's digital connectivity. He also inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 4,505 crores under the Mission Schools of Excellence initiative. This highlights the government's commitment to enhancing education and infrastructure in the region.

Furthermore, PM Modi unveiled a new Navodaya Vidyalaya in Dahod, constructed at a cost of Rs. 23 crore, and an FM Radio Studio built at a cost of Rs. 10 crore. These initiatives contribute to educational and cultural development in the area.

Lastly, the inauguration of village Wi-Fi facilities in 7,500 villages across 22 districts is a significant step towards digital inclusion, benefiting approximately 20 lakh beneficiaries in Gujarat.
