GANDHINAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to participate in an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit today in Gandhinagar. In anticipation of the occasion, PM Modi expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Celebrating two decades of nurturing business, innovation, and prosperity! Joining the commemoration event at 10 AM to mark 20 years of the @VibrantGujaratSummit, which reflects Gujarat's steadfast dedication to economic advancement. Over the years, these summits have united key stakeholders across various sectors, fostering growth, and most importantly, generating opportunities for Gujarat's youth."

Vibrant Gujarat, through its official Twitter handle, also acknowledged the initiative's origins, attributing its inception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2003. They highlighted that over the past two decades, the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit has evolved into the preferred choice for investors, not only from India but from around the world.

Furthermore, Vibrant Gujarat praised Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel's unwavering commitment to transforming Gujarat into one of India's most dynamic states, lauding its pro-business policies, robust industrial base, and investment-friendly climate.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Gujarat on September 27 will also include the inauguration of development projects totaling Rs 5,206 crores in Chhota Udepur. This includes the rollout of village Wi-Fi facilities across 22 districts, benefiting approximately 20 lakh residents.

The Gujarat government, in a statement issued on Monday, detailed the inauguration of projects valued at Rs 4,505 crore under the Mission Schools of Excellence initiative. Additionally, PM Modi will inaugurate a new Navodaya Vidyalaya in Dahod, constructed at a cost of Rs 23 crore, and an FM Radio Studio with an investment of Rs 10 crore.

The development projects to be inaugurated encompass a range of sectors, with Rs 277 crore allocated to the Roads and Buildings Department, Rs 251 crore for the Urban Development Department, and Rs 80 crore for the Water Supply Department, further underscoring the government's commitment to progress and growth.
