Prime Minister Narendra Modi inagurated a series of projects worth Rs.12,800 crore in Bihar's West Champaran district on Wednesday. These projects encompass various infrastructure initiatives focusing on rail, road, and petroleum and natural gas development in Bettiah.

Among the key inaugurations, PM Modi launched the Indian Oil's Muzaffarpur-Motihari LPG Pipeline, spanning 109 kilometers. This pipeline holds significance as it will enhance access to cleaner cooking fuel not only in Bihar but also in neighboring Nepal. Additionally, the Prime Minister dedicated Indian Oil's LPG Bottling Plant and storage terminal in Motihari. The terminal is strategically positioned to serve as a vital supply point for exporting petroleum products to Nepal. It is expected to cater to eight districts in North Bihar, namely East Champaran, West Champaran, Gopalganj, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, and Madhubani.

The newly established Bottling Plant in Motihari is poised to streamline the supply chain, particularly benefiting markets connected to the Motihari Plant.
