Smriti Irani, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, also tweeted her greetings, "Navroz Mubarak! "I pray that the new year brings everyone health, happiness, and prosperity."

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, minister of health and family welfare; chemicals and fertilisers, took to social media to express his greeting, tweeting: Navroz Mubarak to my Parsi brothers and sisters! Gujarat has a particular relationship with the Parsi people. I'm hoping for a prosperous and happy new year. "May everyone be healthy and their dreams come true."

The Parsi New Year is a regional holiday celebrated on the first day of Farvardin, the Zoroastrian calendar's first month. It is also known as Navroz, which is derived from the Persian terms Nav and Roz, both of which mean "new day." Every year, the festival takes place around the Spring Equinox, which is approximately March 21. The Parsi community in India, on the other hand, uses the Shahenshahi calendar, which does not account for leap years. As a result, the celebration has been pushed back by 200 days from its original date of the spring equinox.
