Kalburgi: PM Narendra Modi is on a tour of Maharashtra and Karnataka. There he has given the gift of development works worth crores. PM Narendra Modi played the traditional drum in the Kalaburagi district of the state during his visit to Karnataka. In fact, wherever the Prime Minister travels, whether in the country or abroad, he cannot stop himself from seeing traditional musical instruments. Actually, there is a joy hidden in cultural musical instruments, which work to connect different cultures. Prime Minister Modi knows this very well.

On Thursday, he played drums in Karnataka's Kalaburagi district. Similarly, he has expressed his enthusiasm by playing drum or Nagada on many occasions. He said that the Karnataka government has chosen the path of good governance and harmony that Lord Basaveshwara had given to the country and the world centuries ago. Lord Basveswara gave a model of social justice and democracy to the world from a platform like Anubhav Mandapam. He had shown us the path of empowerment of all by rising above all discrimination of society.

PM Narendra Modi said that Dalits, backward, tribals were the largest class who had never even seen the door of the bank. Jan Dhan bank accounts have linked crores of underprivileged people to banks. The earlier government used to give MSP on only a few forest produce, while our government is giving MSP on more than 90 forest produce. After the decision of the Karnataka government, now all the families living in Tanda will also get the benefit.
