For the first time since 1997, an Indian Prime Minister has visited Egypt. During the visit, PM Modi held discussions with Egyptian Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly and key cabinet ministers to further strengthen business ties and strategic partnership between Egypt and India. PM Modi visited the Heliopolis War Memorial in Cairo, Egypt and paid tribute to the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during World War I.
