New Delhi: International Women's Day 2022 is being celebrated across the world today. On this occasion, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi saluted Women's Power and said that the Central Government will continue to focus on women's empowerment through all its schemes with special emphasis on honour and opportunities.

He tweeted, "From financial inclusion to social security, from quality health care to housing, education to entrepreneurship, many efforts were made to put forward our Women's Power in India's development journey. In the coming time, they will continue with effort and enthusiasm. "

In another tweet, PM Modi said, "On Women's Day, I bow to Nari Shakti and her achievements in various fields. The Government of India will continue to focus on women's empowerment through its various schemes with special emphasis on honour and opportunities. International Women's Day is celebrated on March 8. On this occasion, PM Modi will address through video conference a seminar at a women's sant shivir in Dhordo village of Kutch in Gujarat.
