Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat starting from January 8 to 10, marking his participation in the prestigious Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. This event, initially conceived in 2003 during Modi's tenure as Chief Minister, has blossomed into a key global platform for fostering business alliances and sustainable growth.
The upcoming Summit, scheduled from January 10 to 12, 2024, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, carries the theme 'Gateway to the Future,' commemorating its tenth edition. During his trip, the Prime Minister plans to hold talks with international leaders and CEOs of major global companies. His agenda includes inaugurating the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show and engaging with influential business figures at the Global FinTech Leadership Forum in GIFT City on January 9.
Various seminars and conferences will also be held during the summit, covering essential topics like Industry 4.0, Technology and Innovation, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydrogen, Electric Mobility, Renewable Energy, and the Transition towards Sustainability.
The event will highlight investment prospects in the North-Eastern regions, emphasizing sectors such as e-mobility, startups, MSMEs, Blue Economy, Green Energy, and Smart Infrastructure. With the participation of 34 partner countries and 16 organizations, the summit aims to foster inclusive growth and build strategic alliances for sustainable development. Moreover, the Ministry of Development of the North-Eastern Region intends to showcase regional investment opportunities at this platform.
