Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a visit to Chhattisgarh and Telangana, where he will unveil an array of transformative projects in these two states, both of which are gearing up for upcoming elections. According to a statement released by the Prime Minister's Office, Modi will undertake the inauguration and foundation stone-laying ceremonies for numerous development initiatives valued at over Rs 26,000 crore in Chhattisgarh, as well as more than ₹8,000 crore in Telangana. Notably, one of the highlights of this journey is the inauguration of NMDC Steel Ltd's cutting-edge steel plant in Nagarnar, located in Bastar district, a monumental step that aligns with the vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat.'

This state-of-the-art steel plant, constructed at an investment exceeding Rs 23,800 crore, represents a groundbreaking greenfield project geared towards producing top-tier steel products. Its establishment is poised to generate substantial employment opportunities, benefitting both the plant workforce and ancillary and downstream industries. Furthermore, the state's rail infrastructure will receive a significant boost, as the Prime Minister will dedicate rail projects such as the new rail line linking Manoharabad and Siddipet and the electrification projects encompassing Dharmabad-Manoharabad and Mahabubnagar-Kurnool.

In a concerted effort to enhance healthcare infrastructure in the state, Modi will lay the foundation stone for 20 critical care blocks (CCBs) as part of the Pradhan Mantri - Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission.
