Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to share a brief video snippet from his recent visit to the Dubai-hosted COP28 Climate Summit. In the clip, PM Modi emphasized both India's and his government's unwavering dedication to global climate objectives.

Describing the summit as fruitful in a concise tweet, PM Modi urged global leaders to persist in collaborative efforts for a more sustainable planet. The approximately two-minute video showcased moments of PM Modi engaging with various world leaders, exchanging handshakes and warm embraces while also featuring his address at the event, focusing on the collective responsibility of nations in combating climate change.

Accompanying the video, PM Modi expressed gratitude to Dubai, stating, "Thank you, Dubai! It’s been a productive #COP28 Summit. Let’s all keep working together for a better planet." During the summit, PM Modi engaged with several prominent figures including Britain’s King Charles III, Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and UN Special Envoy for Climate Ambition and Solutions, Mike Bloomberg.

Reflecting on his discussions with King Charles, PM Modi highlighted the monarch's significant role in advocating for environmental conservation and sustainable development in the fight against climate change.

Furthermore, PM Modi extended an invitation to host the 33rd edition of the Summit in India in 2028, pending approval from other signatories to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Normally, the summit's venue is decided two years beforehand.
