New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is going to address the third annual Leadership Summit of the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) on Thursday. PM Modi will address the summit through video conferencing at 9 pm(IST). Information in this regard was given by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Wednesday.
The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum is a non-profit organization, which works for the partnership between India and America. The theme of the five-day summit that began on 31 August is 'US-India Navigating New Challenges'. Many different aspects have been covered in this topic. The summit has the potential to become India's international manufacturing hub, prospects in India's gas market, ease of doing business to attract Direct Foreign Index (FDI) in India, common opportunities and challenges in technical areas, Indo-Pacific economic issues, there will be a focus on innovation in public health and others.
Along with PM Narendra Modi, Union ministers and senior officials will also be present in this virtual summit. It is believed that this summit will be very important for the relationship between India and the US, as well as it may have an impact on the presidential election in America.
