Ayodhya: Ahead of the much-awaited consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, the city is poised to welcome a slew of transformative projects. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the temple town on December 30, where he will inaugurate projects valued at thousands of crores, as announced by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Among the remarkable initiatives lined up for Ayodhya are the inauguration of an international airport named Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport, the unveiling of an upgraded railway station, and the launch of the New Delhi-Ayodhya Vande Bharat Express train. The Prime Minister's visit will also include a public meeting, expected to draw a crowd of 150,000 to 200,000 people from the surrounding areas. Adequate arrangements for parking and essential facilities for attendees are being put in place.

During his visit, PM Modi will be welcomed with floral showers and traditional chants. The convoy routes he takes will be adorned with flowers, adding to the festive ambiance of the occasion. Additionally, a roadshow is planned as part of the visit.

In preparations for the Ram Temple event, Chief Minister Adityanath has issued directives for all hotels in Ayodhya to cancel advance bookings to ensure comfortable accommodation for those invited to the consecration ceremony. The city is being adorned in the spirit of 'Treta Yug,' reminiscent of the era associated with Lord Ram's life according to Hinduism. Local temples and mathas are also undergoing embellishments ahead of the grand event.

It's noteworthy that while the Ram Temple is set to open for public viewing on January 24, only individuals with official invitations or those on government duty will be permitted to enter Ayodhya during the consecration ceremony on January 22. The city is abuzz with anticipation as it readies itself for these momentous developments and celebrations.
