PM Modi to inaugurate India's longest road tunnel on April 2

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 2 will inaugurate the  India's longest highway tunnel at Chennai-Nashri, between Udhampur and Ramban in Jammu and Kashmir.

The tunnel which joins Jammu with Srinagar is located on national highway 44 will be helped in decreasing the travel time between the two cities by up to two hours.

The project has been completed at a cost of over Rs. 2500 crore.
