Ahmedabad: Gujarat is going to receive a big gift on October 31. The sea-plane service between the Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad and the Statue of Unity located in Kevadia is being launched, which will be launched by PM Narendra Modi on October 31. Pm Modi will be in Gujarat on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, during which he will travel from statue of Unity to Sabarmati Riverfront on a sea-plane. This will be the country's first sea-plane service.
From October 31, the 19-seater Sea-plane will fly 4 per day. The fare has been kept at Rs. 4800 per passenger. The sea plane will land in Lake No. 3 of Sardar Sarovar Dam. The Sea-plane project is counted in PM Narendra Modi's dream project. It was inaugurated by PM Modi during the 2017 assembly elections, but now it has been linked to the Statue of Unity.
The sea plane arrived in Kochi from Maldives a few days ago, after which it has now arrived in Gujarat. Its initial service will remain between Kevadia and Ahmedabad. For the past few days, a jetty for sea planes was going on in Ahmedabad and Kevadia and all other preparations were underway.
