Amritsar: On the occasion of Dussehra in Punjab, a ruckus has started on burning effigy of PM Narendra Modi. On this matter, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda has said that this drama has happened in Punjab at the behest of Rahul Gandhi. Nadda said that this incident is shameful, but not unexpected.
At the same time, Rahul Gandhi has tweeted on this incident saying that 'PM Modi's effigy was burnt all over Punjab. Rahul said that it is sad that people's anger towards the Prime Minister in Punjab has reached this level, PM Modi should talk to these people. Let us tell you that on Sunday, some people in Punjab had burned PM Modi's effigy. On this, BJP Chief JP Nadda flared up and said that the shameful drama of burning PM Modi's effigy in Punjab is directed by Rahul Gandhi, he feared something like this would happen.
Nadda said that the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty has never respected the post of PM. The same was observed between 2004-2014 when the Prime Minister's post was weakened institutionally during the UPA regime.
