New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the "Udyami Bharat" programme, today at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The "Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance" (RAMP) plan, the "Capacity Building of First-Time MSME Exporters" (CBFTE) scheme, and new components of the "Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme" will all be introduced by the prime minister during the event (PMEGP).
PM Modi will also distribute National MSME Awards in 2022, reveal the results of the MSME Idea Hackathon under 2022, digitally transfer support to PMEGP beneficiaries for the years 2022–2023 and give Digital Equity Certificates to 75 MSMEs in the Self Reliant India (SRI) Fund.
"Udyami Bharat" is a reflection of the government's ongoing commitment to advancing the empowerment of MSMEs from the outset, the PMO said. To promote the MSME sector, which has benefited millions of people nationwide, the government periodically introduces new initiatives like the MUDRA Yojana, Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme, and Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries (SFURTI).
The "Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance" (RAMP) scheme, with an estimated investment of Rs 6,000 crore, would be introduced by the prime minister. It attempts to increase MSMEs' ability to execute policies and their geographic reach while maximising the benefits of current MSME programmes.
