AYODHYA: Light Ram Jyoti at Home on January 22: PM Modi's Request for Ram Mandir Event-  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a special plea, requesting the public not to assemble in Ayodhya on January 22 for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple. He emphasized that only a select few have received invitations for the event and encouraged them alone to attend. After unveiling various projects in Ayodhya, PM Modi suggested that people plan their visit to Ayodhya starting from January 23, a day following the ceremony.

PM Modi's appeal comes amidst expectations from the Ayodhya administration of a significant influx of people on the day of the consecration ceremony. Local authorities are actively preparing security measures, anticipating the attendance of several high-profile dignitaries at the Ram Temple event.

Highlighting the significance of the day, PM Modi urged citizens across India to celebrate Diwali on January 22 by lighting the 'Ram Jyoti' (the light of Lord Ram) in their homes. He expressed gratitude for this historic moment, emphasizing the need for a collective resolution for the nation and a renewed energy among its citizens.

Smart Ayodhya Initiative

Addressing an event in Ayodhya, PM Modi emphasized that the construction of the Ram Temple will draw a considerable number of visitors to the sacred city. He pointed out that the government has undertaken extensive development projects worth billions of rupees to transform Ayodhya into a smart city.

"With the construction of the magnificent Ram Temple, we anticipate a significant surge in visitors here. Hence, our government has embarked on development projects worth billions in Ayodhya, aiming to make it a smart city," PM Modi remarked.

Regarding Ayodhya's new international airport, PM Modi expressed his satisfaction in naming it after Maharishi Valmiki, the revered sage who introduced the teachings of Lord Ram through the epic Ramayana. "Today, I have the honor of inaugurating the Ayodhya Dham Airport and Railway Station. It brings me joy that the Ayodhya Airport bears the name of Maharishi Valmiki, who acquainted us with the profound teachings of Lord Ram in the Ramayana. In modern India, Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham, will serve as a link to the divine and the grand new Ram temple," he said.
