Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on an adventure through Assam's Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve on Saturday. His journey kicked off with an elephant safari in the Mihimukh area of the Central Kohora Range, followed by a thrilling jeep safari in the same region. Accompanying him were park director Sonali Ghosh and other senior forest officials.
Later in the day, PM Modi is poised to unveil the 125-ft high 'Statue of Valour' paying homage to the esteemed Ahom general Lachit Barphukan in Jorhat. Following this, he will head to Meleng Meteli Pothar in the Jorhat district to inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various central and state projects amounting to around Rs18,000 crore. Additionally, he will address the public at the same venue.

From March 8 to 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's itinerary includes visits to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh.
