Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi will chair a high-level meeting to review the increase and availability of oxygen across the country at 11.30 am today. In fact, the second wave of corona infection in the country had led to severe medical oxygen problems in many states.

At the same time, several media reports claim that the third wave of corona could hit the country by September-October. In such a situation, the Central and State Governments are already trying to maintain the system of oxygen and medical facilities. And a number of important decisions may also be taken in the meeting at 11.30 am.

On the other hand, 43,504 patients were found in the country in the last 24 hours. 44,204 recovered and 908 people lost their lives due to this epidemic. This led to the highest number of cases in Maharashtra (9,083) and Kerala (13,772). Both these states are currently undergoing the highest number of patients. 53% of the total cases reported in the country last day have been reported in these two States. The number of patients undergoing active cases on Thursday has come down by 1,625. The day before, it had registered an increase of 336. This was the first time in the last 105 days that active cases had increased.
