New Delhi: Navratri, the holy festival of Hindus, begins today, and the Hindu New Year has also begun. PM Modi on Tuesday greeted the people on the occasion. PM Modi has wished for Navratri, New Year as well as Baisakhi, Gudi Padwa, and Navreh. PMÂ Modi wrote in his tweet that he wished the countrymen a very happy Navratri and wrote that he wished all the countrymen a happy Nav Samvatsara. This auspicious occasion brings joy to everyone's life.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also used Twitter to salute the martyrs on the anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh carnage. PM Modi tweeted that he bowed to those who lost their lives in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. Their sacrifice gives strength to every Indian. On April 13, 1919, the English regime indiscriminately opened fire on hundreds of Indians in Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, killing many people.
Apart from PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has also greeted Navratri and Hindu New Year. UP CM Yogi Adityanath wrote the heartiest greetings to all the people of the state on Chaitra Navratri, the holy festival of Shakti Puja. I pray to Jagadamba, the mother of the world, to fulfill everyone's life with happiness, prosperity, good health, and harmony.
