New Delhi: On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled a new Garba song titled "Maadi." The song, personally penned by PM Modi, is performed by Divya Kumar and composed by the Meet Bros. Prime Minister Modi introduced the song's video on YouTube and X (formerly Twitter) and expressed his delight in sharing this Garba creation. He said, "As the auspicious Navratri dawns upon us, I am delighted to share a Garba penned by me during the past week. Let the festive rhythms embrace everyone!"

He extended his gratitude to the singer and composer for lending their voices and music to this Garba. The four-minute and 40-second song is sung in Gujarati and showcases individuals in vibrant attire heading to various Garba venues to dance to the lively beats, with some participants wielding dandiya sticks. Notably, the Statue of Unity, located in Vadodara and dedicated to Sardar Vallabhai Patel, makes an appearance in the background of one of the frames.

In addition to "Maadi," another Garba song titled "Garbo," written by PM Modi several years ago, was released in a music video on Saturday. Sung by Dhvani Bhanushali and composed by Tanishk Bagchi, this song gained significant online popularity, accumulating over a million views on YouTube within just six hours of its release.

The song was released under the banner of Jjust Music, a music label established by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani. The music video's description on YouTube reads, "inspired by the poetic notes penned by none other than the one and only PM Narendra Modi. GARBO transports us to witness the dynamic culture of Gujarat during Navratri."

On Saturday, Prime Minister Modi extended his Navratri wishes, saying, "May mother Durga, who gives strength, brings happiness, prosperity, good fortune, and good health to everyone's life." His warm message was shared on the microblogging platform, X.
