Kolkata: On Sunday, PM Narendra Modi torched the BJP's election campaign through a rally at Kolkata's Brigade Parade ground. Addressing the public meeting, Prime Minister Modi attacked Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. On the issue of familism, the Prime Minister surrounded Mamata Banerjee. Prime Minister Modi attacked Mamata Banerjee and said that why did you choose the same nephew's temptation to be the aunt? Why did you start to fulfill the greed of your nephew instead of the expectations of millions of nieces and nephews of Bengal?

Pointing towards Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Modi said, you too could not give up the Congress rites of nepotism against which you rebelled. Didi, you are the daughter of the country, not only of Bengal. A few days ago, when you took over Scooty, everyone was praying that you are safe! It is good that you did not fall, otherwise the state where it became a scooty would have made that state its enemy.

Simultaneously, PM Modi also attacked Congress MP, Rahul Gandhi. Prime Minister Modi said that nowadays even our opponents say that I work for friends. We all know that where we grew up in childhood, where we played in childhood, who are educated, we are good friends of our life. I too grew up in poverty and so what is their sorrow and pain, even if they are in any corner of India, because they are our friends, I can feel them well. That's why I work for friends and I will continue to work for friends only.
