New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi attended the program of National Cadet Corps in Delhi on Thursday. During this time he was given the Guard of Honor. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat, Chief of the three Services are also present in the program. The parade was taken out by various states during the event held at Cariappa Parade Ground. PM Modi inspected the parade during this period and honoured many cadets.
During this, PM Modi said, 'Every moment you get a chance to spend among all the young comrades of NCC, it gives a very pleasant experience. Not only me, everyone would feel proud after watching today's program. You have also performed well in the parade on 26 January.' He also said, 'Where the Indian tradition of gallantry and service is being enhanced, NCC cadets are seen there. Where there is a campaign to create awareness among the people about the Constitution, NCC cadets are also seen there. NCC cadets are definitely visible if there is a campaign related to the environment, water conservation or sanitation.'
PM Modi said that the manner in which lakhs of cadets have worked closely with the administration and society across the country in the entire period of Corona is praiseworthy. It is the duty of everyone to fulfil the civil duties that have been said in our constitution.
