New Delhi: Today is the third day of Chhath, the festival of public faith that started with Nahay-Khay. Today, Arghya will be offered to the setting sun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted the nation on the occasion of this auspicious festival. PM Modi has written in his message, 'Heartfelt greetings to all the countrymen on the occasion of Chhath, a festival dedicated to the worship of Surya Dev and nature. May everyone's life always be illuminated with the blessings of Lord Bhaskar and Chhathi Maiya, this is the wish.'

At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also greeted the people of the country on Chhath Mahaparva. Amit Shah tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote, "Heartiest greetings to all the countrymen on Chhath puja, the festival of Surya Dev worship.
