Chennai: PM Narendra Modi organized a dinner for China President Xi Jinping on Friday night in Mahabalipuram. During this time a plate of South Indian dishes was served for Jinping. The menu on the plate of Xi Jinping includes Thakkali Rasam, Malabar Lobster, Corey Kempu, Matan Ularathiyadu, Kuruvepillai Meen Varuval, Thanjavur Kozhi Curry, Yerachi Getty Kozhambu, Beetroot Ginger Chop, Pach Sundakai, Arica Koxhambu, Arvita Sambhar, Indian bread Ad pradhaman, kavanarasi halwa, makkani ice cream and masala tea.

Earlier, PM Modi and Xi Jinping spent nearly six hours together during their second informal summit in the world-famous Mahabalipuram. PM Modi specifically gave instructions for non-veg thali for the guests. Earlier, PM Modi made Chinese President Xi Jinping visit Pancharatha, Arjuna Tapasya Sthal and Shore Temple. During this time, PM Modi also informed Jinping about the importance of these places.

Let us tell you that Pancharatha has been prepared by cutting solid rocks. A huge elephant and lion statues are also installed in the center of Pancharatha. Arjuna Tapasya site is included in the magnificent monuments of Mahabalipuram. PM Modi and Jinping visited Pancharath together. Pancharatha is named after the characters of the Mahabharata. It is said that Arjuna did penance here. Although there is no historical connection with the Indian epic Mahabharata apart from the five Pandava brothers Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva and his wife Draupadi.
