Ahmedabad: A major road accident has been reported in Anand district of Gujarat. In Tarapur area, 10 people including a child were killed in a car and truck collision this morning. PM Modi has expressed grief over the incident. PM Modi has also announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to the kin of the deceased.

PM Modi said he was saddened by the death of people in a road accident in Anand district of Gujarat. Condolences to those who lost their loved ones. The family members of the deceased will be given compensation of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund. The PMO has informed in this regard. Home Minister Amit Shah has also expressed grief over the incident. Shah tweeted that he was deeply saddened to learn about the incident on Tarapur Highway in Anand. This incident is disturbing. It is prayed that God may give peace to the souls of the dead and give the family the strength to bear this suffering.

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani has also expressed grief over the incident. In a tweet, he said, he is condoled the death of a man in a tragic accident near Indraraj village of Tarapur in Anand district. All instructions have been issued to provide immediate and proper help to the victims of the accident. Pray that God gives peace to the souls of the dead and gives the family the strength to endure this suffering.
