New Delhi: The BJP, which has the image of a 'Hindu party,' has now decided to do a makeover. It is reported that PM Narendra Modi has chalked out a plan to increase the reach of the Christian and Muslim communities in Kerala. According to the report, PM Modi has tasked the leaders of the North East to expand the party base in Kerala through the Christian community. At the same time, these leaders and MLAs have also been asked to put an end to the misconception that the BJP is just a Hindu party. Notably, most of the BJP leaders in the North-East belong to the Christian community. In such a situation, the party hopes that it can gain a grip on the Christian community in Kerala through those leaders. According to the report, sources have informed that efforts are also being made to connect with such communities having been influenced by the Christian community in northeast India, Goa and Kerala. Sources said BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has said after consulting that the party will take the initiative.
