More than 3.26 lakh cases of corona virus infection have been reported in India in the last 24 hours. PM Modi has been constantly calling chief ministers of the states to find out the situation in the state over corona. PM Modi is also ensuring assistance from the central government level on the demands of chief ministers. Earlier, PM Modi had held phone discussions with the Chief Ministers of Punjab, Karnataka, Bihar, Uttarakhand. PM Modi sought information on treatment resources, oxygen, ICU beds in the state.
The Chief Ministers had briefed PM Modi on recovery rate, corona curfew, temporary covid hospital, public awareness campaign, vaccination, oxygen plants etc. PM Modi assured the chief ministers of the states that the Central government would extend all possible help to them in this time of crisis. Its PM Modi stressed on increasing the rate of vaccination.
