India's current PM Narendra Modi has appealed to all radio jockeys (RJs) to tell the government what difficulties people are facing due to coronavirus infection so that the government can solve those difficulties.

Through a special video on Friday, PM Modi contacted some RJs and urged them to publicize the opinions of experts on the corona. Along with this, he has appealed to take the steps taken by the government to deal with these situations. The Prime Minister asked radio jockeys to tell people how doctors, health workers and employees of airlines are being abused. People fear that they will get corona infection, so they misbehave. Also, the Prime Minister said that All India Radio has a particularly important role in stopping the flow of rumours. He also requested other RJs to work towards stopping the spread of rumours.

PM Modi said that the government has announced several schemes for the poor and the underprivileged. This important information should be communicated to the beneficiaries in time. He said that radio jockeys communicate with a very large group. Therefore, his role will be very important. He should also educate people about social distancing and self-quarantine. He should also make people aware of the day-night service done by the police. Also, explain to them the need to cooperate with the police. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar was present on this occasion. Earlier, PM Narendra Modi had talked to different groups of society about the Coronavirus.
