New Delhi. The Air Force has come forward to help in the midst of out-of-control situations caused by the coronavirus in India. The Air Force is carrying oxygen to various parts through its special aircraft. Meanwhile, PM Modi has held discussions with Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, chief of the Air Staff, on Wednesday. In the meeting, the Chief of the Air Staff apprised PM Modi about the corona assistance being provided by the Air Force across the country.

During his meeting with the Air Force Chief, PM Modi has called for a safe and fast movement of oxygen tankers and essential commodities. He said that during these corona-related operations, care should also be taken to ensure that air force personnel are safe. RKS Bhadauria told PM Modi that hospitals under the Air Force have increased covid-19 facilities, where civilians are also being admitted wherever possible. Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria has said that IAF is deploying large and medium-sized aircraft to cover all areas.

He elaborated on a dedicated Corona Air Support Cell by IAF, which ensured rapid coordination with various ministries and agencies for covid related works.
