Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi is on a stay in Varanasi today. At 10:30 p.m., he reached Babatpur airport, from where he reached the venue at Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Here, PM Modi pressed the button and gave a gift of more than Rs 1500 crores to the people. PM Modi praised CM Yogi and said that today the government in UP is not running on corruption and nepotism but with developments. That is why, today, the people are getting the benefit of the people's schemes directly in UP. Today, new industries are being invested in UP, employment opportunities are increasing.

PM Modi further said that it is not that before 2017 there were no schemes for the state, money was not sent. Even then, the same fast efforts were made from Delhi. But then they used to get stuck in Lucknow. Today CM Yogi himself is working hard. UP is ruled by law today. Mafia raj and terrorism, which once went berserk in UP, are now under the grip of law. The situation has also changed the way parents always lived in fear and apprehension about the safety of sisters and daughters. PM Modi said that the Rs 1 lakh crore special fund created for modern agricultural infrastructure in the country will now benefit our agricultural markets as well.

PM Modi said this is a major step towards modernizing and facilitating the system of agricultural markets in the country. PM Modi said that the telecast of Aarti at Ganga Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple will be possible across the city through big screens. UP is emerging as the country's leading investment destination. UP, which was considered difficult to do business in up till a few years ago, is now becoming the favourite place for Make in India.
