New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today i.e. on Thursday (February 9) replied to the discussion on the motion of thanks on President Draupadi Murmu's address. During this, PM Modi said I thank the respected President for participating in the discussion going on in Parliament on the motion of thanks on the President's address. I congratulate her. During PM Modi's address, MPs from opposition parties created a ruckus and raised slogans. At times, the noise of the opposition MPs became so much that it also became difficult to listen to even the Prime Minister.
After which PM Modi retaliated befittingly on the sloganeering of the opposition. He said that the behavior of some people is disappointing. PM Modi said that the more mud you throw, the more the lotus will bloom. Your contribution to our success cannot be forgotten either. He said that this house is the house of the states, in the last decades many intellectuals gave direction to the country from the house. Such people are also sitting in the House, who have achieved many achievements in their life. The country listens and takes seriously what happens in the House. But, it is unfortunate that the behavior and speech of some people in the House are disappointing not only to the House but to the entire nation.
PM Modi said that when anyone comes to the government, he comes with some promise for the country, but a mere expression of feelings does not help. What is the speed of development, and what is the foundation, direction, effort, and result of development, it is very important. He said that our priority was the citizens of our country, and that's why we provided the facility of gas connection to more than 25 crore families. In this, we had to spend new infrastructure and money. There were more than 18,000 villages where electricity had not reached to date since independence. Within the deadline, we did the work of providing electricity to 18,000 villages. During the entire speech of PM Modi, the opposition started raising slogans.
