New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi will address the 12-day COP-14 (Conference of Parties) released at Expo Mart in Greater Noida today i.e. 11 am 15 minutes. Around 196 countries are participating in this conference. The name of this program has been given as COP 14 (Conference of Parties). The Cop-14 conference was started on 2 September. It was inaugurated by Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar.
The objective of the COP 14 conference is to save the world from increasing desertification. Through this conference, India will send a message to the whole world to tackle desertification. This conference has been led by China at the moment. In the year 2017 too, China organized it. India is leading this conference for the next two years ie by 2020. This program will run till 13 September. For the first time in India, this program is happening on a large scale. Let us know that at this time India is the head of the ongoing campaign against the Earthquake.
Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar has been elected as the President of the Conference of Parties this week and will remain the President of this organization for the next two years.
