BHUBANESWAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow in Bhubaneswar during his visit to Odisha on April 16. He is scheduled to address two rallies in Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur on the same day. After this, he will hold rallies in Chhattisgarh on the same day. On Sunday, BJP state vice president Samir Mohanty said that the prime minister will start his road show from near the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Odisha and reach the public rally venue at Baramunda Ground covering Ganganagar and OUAT Square.

Here are the scheduled roadshows:
> Sambalpur, Odisha at 11 am
> Korba, Chhattisgarh at 1 pm
> Bhatapara, Chhattisgarh at 3 pm
> Bhubaneswar, Odisha at 6 pm
In Chhatisgarh, the rallies will be held at Korba and at Bhatapara town in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. A state BJP spokesperson said, "The PM will first address a public meeting in Korba district headquarter at around 11 am and the next one in Bhatapara town of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district at around 1:30 pm," he said.
A total of seven seats, including Korba, Raipur, Bilaspur, Janjgir-Champa, Durg, Surguja and Raigarh, go to polls in the second phase on April 23. Polling in Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur Lok Sabha constituencies of Odisha state, and the assembly segments coming under them will be held in the third phase on April 23. The Lok Sabha and assembly elections are being held simultaneously in the state in four phases.
