New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is discussing the latest covid-19 situation in his states with chief ministers of six states today i.e. The meeting was attended by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, and Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan through video conference. In fact, many districts of these States have either seen an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection, or in many other States, the number of cases has not been seen as it has been recorded.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Health Minister Mansukh Bhai Mandaviya were also reportedly present at the meeting. As soon as the Prime Minister has started a series of interactions with the Chief Ministers in view of the apprehension of the third wave of the corona, he said, "The vaccination campaign needs to continue to grow to fight the third wave of the epidemic.'' At the same time, PM Modi also said that the rush of people in hilly tourist places and markets without wearing masks and not following social distance is a matter of concern.

He also said, "There is a need to focus and adopt which method can do better in your state, in the city. The situation and needs everywhere are different.'' At the same time, he expressed concern over the loss incurred by a variety of businesses, including the tourism industry, due to corona in the North-Eastern States.
