New Delhi: The speed of corona infection in the country is now very low. The epidemic has caused a lot of trouble to the people, but now the time has come to get rid of it. Corona vaccination drive is going to start from today. It will be the world's largest ever vaccination campaign. PM Modi will launch vaccination programme through video conferencing. After which PM Modi will also hold discussions with the vaccine health workers. The talks can be seen by people at the country's 3006 vaccine center.

First, 16 million employees who are involved in essential services will get the vaccine. These include over 51 lakh 82 thousand healthcare workers, over 4 lakh 31 thousand security personnel, 1 crore 3 lakh 66 thousand social workers and more than 1 lakh 5,000 postal services employees. A total of 3006 vaccination centres have been set up in all states and union territories for the vaccine campaign. About 3 lakh health workers will be given vaccine on the first day. That means, 100 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at all the centres on the first day. The timing of the vaccine is from 9 am to 5 pm.

A 24x7 call center-1075 has also been set up for questions related to corona epidemic, vaccine rollout and Co-WIN software. According to a central government directive, corona vaccine is currently to be applied only to people aged 18 years and above.
