New Delhi: PM Modi is scheduled to attend BJP's 'Seva Hi Sangathan' program on Saturday. PM Modi will hold discussions with BJP workers at 4.30 pm. However, earlier PM Modi said that for BJP workers, serving the country is the first religion. In this challenging time, our workers are working tirelessly across India, who are helping the needy. PM Modi further said, 'Today at 4.30 we will discuss the work done by the workers. The service will determine the way forward through the organization.'
The state units of the BJP will submit their reports to PM Modi regarding various welfare activities undertaken during the nationwide lockdown applicable to control of the global pandemic coronavirus after 4 pm on Saturday. Earlier, BJP general secretary Arun Singh had said on Friday that the party's national president JP Nadda and Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari and other big leaders of the party would join it. It will be virtual and telecast live on the party's digital platform.
Arun Singh said that the party held more than 61 virtual rallies to celebrate the first anniversary. May 30 was the first anniversary of the second term of the Modi government. 11.49 crore people participated in virtual rallies. In the BJP's door-to-door campaign to propagate the achievements of the first year of the government, party workers interacted with 5.41 crore people.
