Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also pay tribute to Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and patron Mulayam Singh Yadav by reaching Saifai. PM Modi will reach Saifai today i.e. on Tuesday (October 11) to pay his last respects to Mulayam before coming to Ujjain. After this, Mulayam's last rites will be performed at the Mela Ground at 3 pm. The ground is located about 500 metres from Mulayam Singh's Kothi.

Mulayam's body was brought to Saifai on Monday evening after his death at the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram. Till late in the night, people gathered at Mulayam's ancestral residence to pay their last respects to Netaji. CM Yogi also reached Saifai Kothi and paid tribute to Mulayam Singh. Mulayam's body has been kept in the outer chamber of the Kothi for public viewing. At the same time, a large number of police forces have been deployed in Saifai in view of the crowd.  

ADG, IG Prashant Kumar, and Commissioner Rajasekhar are monitoring the arrangements. Arrangements have also been made at the ancestral house to keep his body and visit VVIP. In view of the arrival of PM Modi, the system is being tightened. It is believed that the SPG team will also reach late at night or early morning and take charge of the security system.
