Kolkata: PM Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to Kolkata from January 11. During this time he is proposed to attend a function organized on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Kolkata Port Trust and dedicate the heritage buildings to the nation. According to the statement released by the Prime Minister's Office, on Saturday, PM Modi will dedicate four heritage buildings in Kolkata to the nation.

The statement issued by the PMO said that these buildings include Old Currency Building, Belvedere House, Metkoff House and Victoria Memorial Hall. The Ministry of Culture has done its repair and decoration work. The ministry is developing cultural sites around such famous buildings in various metro cities. Under this, projects have been taken up in Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Varanasi.
