Dhaka: PM Narendra Modi is in Bangladesh on his two-day visit. On Saturday, the second and final day of the tour began with the Jeshoreshwari temple, which is believed to be one of the 51 shakti peeths of the Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple, which is believed to have the palms of Sati Mata. Today, PM Modi offered a red-chunari and a prayer to the mother.

Giving a message to the people after the worship at the Jeshoreshwari temple, PM Modi said, ''Chaitri Navaratri will begin in the next few days. Earlier I had the privilege of coming to the feet of mother Kali, one of the 51 shakti peeths." Today, mankind is going through a corona epidemic. PM prays in the temple ''This is the prayer of the mother to liberate mankind from the corona as soon as possible."

PM Modi further said that in our culture there are mantras like 'sarve bhavantu sukhinah,' vasudhaiva kutumbakam is our heritage, we pray for the welfare of the entire human race. I pray for the welfare of the entire human race with the welfare of the entire country. "Maa Kali Mela, which is visited by people from across the border. Here's a need for a multipurpose community. When someone came to worship maa Kali, the halls came into use. The social, religious, educational programs, disasters, cyclones have replaced everyone's shelter. For this, the Government of India will do this welfare work here," he said.
