Let us tell you all that the Prime Minister is going to be honoured with the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award on the 80th death anniversary of Master Dinanath Mangeshkar, the father of Lata Mangeshkar, on the coming April 24. In fact, the Lata Mangeshkar family and the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan Charitable Trust said in a statement, "They have decided to start the award from this year in honour and memory of Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away in February at the age of 92.''
At the same time, Lata Mangeshkar's family says, "This year is the 80th Commemoration Day of Guru Dinanath Ji and on that occasion, we will be establishing and presenting the "Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award" for the first time. The award will be given every year to only one person who has made a guiding, brilliant and exemplary contribution to our nation, people and our society.''
