Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be honoured with the first Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award. In fact, the Lata Mangeshkar family made this announcement on Monday. Let us tell you all that the Prime Minister is going to be honoured with the Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award on the 80th death anniversary of Master Dinanath Mangeshkar, the father of Lata Mangeshkar, on the coming April 24. In fact, the Lata Mangeshkar family and the Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan Charitable Trust said in a statement, "They have decided to start the award from this year in honour and memory of Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away in February at the age of 92.''

At the same time, Lata Mangeshkar's family says, "This year is the 80th Commemoration Day of Guru Dinanath Ji and on that occasion, we will be establishing and presenting the "Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Award" for the first time. The award will be given every year to only one person who has made a guiding, brilliant and exemplary contribution to our nation, people and our society.''

Lata Mangeshkar's family further said, "We are happy and honoured to announce that the first award winner of this award is none other than the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi Ji. He is our most respected leader. He is an international politician who has put India on the path of global leadership. The tremendous progress that is being made in every aspect and dimension of our beloved nation is inspired by them. He is truly one of the greatest leaders we have seen in the glorious history of thousands of years of our great nation, and our family and trust thank him for accepting this award.''

In fact, Master Dinanath Mangeshkar Smriti Pratishthan, Pune, is a public charitable trust that has been run by the Mangeshkar family for the last thirty-two (32) years. Under this, veterans of the field of music, drama, art, medical professionals and social work are honoured. Let us tell you all that this event is held every year on the 24th of April i.e. the memorial day of Master Dinanathji. Yes, and it is being said that Ms Ushtai Mangeshkar will preside over the function and the awardees will be honoured with their hands.
