New Delhi: The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated with gaiety across the country today. Today is also the third date of Vaisakh Shukla. This day is called Akshaya Tritiya. Apart from this, today is also the birth anniversary of Lord Parshuram ji. Speaking on the occasion, PM Narendra Modi has greeted the countrymen on Eid, Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti.

On this day people say each other Eid Mubarak and pray for each other. At the same time, today is Akshaya Tritiya. Lord Parshuram was born on the day of Akshaya Tritiya.
